This is a list of the typical reasons why a job might not be running.
| Reason | Explanation |

| Dependency | A job dependency prevents this job from starting. |
| QOSMaxCpuPerUserLimit | The user is already running on the maximum number of cores allowed for a single user. |
| AssocGrpCPUMinutesLimit | The account (budget) does not have sufficient time in it for the job. |
| job requeued in held state | The job was requeued by the system or user and was held when it was requeued. |
